Heyimwill provides an online platform that allows users to draft their wills and connect with licensed lawyers for estate planning services in Malaysia. By using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. User Accounts
2.1. To access lawyer listings and services, users must create an account.
2.2. The platform is strictly for individual users and is not intended for businesses or organizations.
2.3. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
2.4. Heyimwill reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms.
3. Services Offered
3.1. Will Builder: Users may draft their own wills using the free will builder.
3.2. Connecting with Lawyers: Users can choose from a list of vetted lawyers for legal services.
3.3. Guaranteed Lawyer Matching:
Heyimwill guarantees users will be successfully matched with a lawyer.
If a lawyer refuses service, Heyimwill will attempt to find another lawyer.
If no match is possible, the user will receive a full refund.
3.4. Legal Responsibility: Lawyers are legally responsible for the accuracy and validity of wills they create.
4. Lawyer Vetting and User Responsibilities
4.1. Heyimwill conducts basic vetting to ensure lawyers are qualified professionals.
4.2. Lawyers may contact users outside the platform at their discretion.
5. Payments and Fees
5.1. Lawyer must pay a success referral fee.
5.2. Additional legal services are available at prices listed on the platform.
5.3. Payments are processed upfront via Stripe and go directly to Heyimwill.
6. Refund Policy
6.1. Refunds are not available for users dissatisfied with a lawyer’s service.
6.2. If a lawyer fails to provide the service, the full amount will be refunded to the user.
6.3. If a dispute arises between a user and a lawyer, Heyimwill will act as a mediator but is not legally liable for the outcome.
7. Account Suspension and Termination
7.1. Heyimwill may suspend or terminate accounts for:
Fraudulent or abusive behaviour
Misuse of platform services
Harassment of lawyers or other users
Violations of Malaysian law
7.2. Users may delete their own accounts at any time via platform settings.
8. User Data and Privacy
8.1. Lawyers will have ongoing access to user data after consultations.
8.2. Heyimwill does not own user-created documents. Users retain full ownership of their wills and legal documents.
8.3. Heyimwill’s Privacy Policy applies to all data handling and may be referenced where applicable.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1. The platform’s branding, website, and will-building tool are owned by Heyimwill.
9.2. Lawyers may freely copy or reproduce platform content for legal purposes.
10. Legal Disputes and Arbitration
10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
10.2. Any disputes will be resolved in Malaysian courts.
10.3. Parties agree to arbitration before pursuing legal action. Arbitration shall be conducted in Malaysia under [insert relevant arbitration framework].
11. Amendments and Updates
Heyimwill reserves the right to modify these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
